I have felt more prosperous when I have positive feedback from friends and relatives. I have six grandchildren, and have felt extremely prosperous when I get loving and positive feedback from them. I have been blessed with having them all residing close in proximity to me, and that has made it possible to have a close relationship with each one of them. It makes me feel extremely prosperous when it is their desire to spend time at Grandma’s, such as sleepovers, shopping trips, picnics, trips to the park, or just hanging out with me.
When my husband passed just recently, it was humbling and made me feel extremely grateful when all my family immediately surrounded me with their love and caring. Every one of my grandchildren was present immediately to offer their love and support. They saw to it that I was not alone and was surrounded by love and caring. The day of Art’s service, all six of these superheroes came through my front door bearing pillows and announced that I was not to be left alone as they came to spend the night, calling it a pajama party. I felt so prosperous at that moment. I felt rich beyond words to realize that I had that much love from each one of my grandchildren.
I really don’t see being prosperous as a money situation. You can view very superficial happenings when it comes to money, but when kind and thoughtful actions are put out there, that is the true feeling of being prosperous.
To me, being prosperous is being loved and respected, and my family certainly came through for me in my time of need, as well as many other insignificant times.
