Sunrise is more than the start of a new day—it’s a promise. A clean slate. A soft glow after the dark. And this morning, on the first day of spring, it feels like that promise is meant just for me.
During those years, I tried other creative ventures, little sparks that either fizzled or never quite caught fire. I told myself I was “just exploring.” Truthfully, I was scared—scared to let go of what was safe and familiar, even if it left me feeling half-asleep.
Now, though, something inside me is waking up. A new dawn is breaking.
A couple of years ago, I became a certified Life Coach. I used my skills here and there—“dibbling and dabbling,” as I like to say—but without much real direction. Then, two months ago, I hired a coach for myself. I committed to her—and to me—to finally move forward. No more half-hearted toe-dipping.
And something magical happened. I actually did it. I followed through.
Now I’m building the coaching business I’ve dreamed about for years. I’m combining everything I love—teaching, creativity, connection, growth—and it feels like I’ve stepped into a sunrise after a long, quiet night.
This season of my life feels lighter, brighter, and beautifully awake. The sky isn’t just brightening in the east… it’s glowing from within me.
