Family members have commented about these spice jars sitting out and say that they drive them crazy. They should be in a cupboard I’m told. I disagree. It is extremely convenient to have the spices at my fingertips when I am cooking. I just took a picture of my spices. They are a bit of an eyesore. oops!
So then, I start thinking about what I’d really like to learn. That would be to have the confidence and self-assuredness that I can do anything I want to do or to be.
This came up recently when my Sidetracked Sisters and I were at the Hands On Studio in Door County.
I am famous for telling other people that they can do anything they set their minds to. How can I be so hypocritical about trash-talking myself, when I do know better? At least my head knows better but my heart has a hard time exhibiting what my head knows for sure.
I’m getting up in years and have often stated that I know I can accomplish anything I want to accomplish. The question then becomes, isn’t it time that I stop talking and start doing the things I want to do and tell others they can do?
It’s time to say “Look out world”. I want to learn how to invent, create, and build things that will make my home more comfortable and my life more enjoyable. I want to eliminate the bonds of doubt that have continued to hold me back from trying things. Look out spices. There’s a solution for you!!
