When we took our son trick-or-treating, he enjoyed the costume part. The candy was secondary to him. He was a lion, a dalmatian, a mouse, a fireman, a policeman, and a grumpy old man. His favorite candy for Halloween was anything Reese’s chocolate and peanut butter. Peanut Butter cups were first on the list.
We didn’t have a lot of candy around the house, so having a bunch of candy to choose from was very special. Matt always shared with us. I loved the little Hershey’s Mr. Goodbar. My pattern has always been that chocolate and nuts were the best.
We only have a few pieces of candy left over from Halloween this year. There are Whoppers, Kit Kats, and a few Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups plus one Starburst. They’ve been around for a few days, but no takers so far. I guess we aren’t very aggressive candy eaters. Happy Halloween to everyone.
