When it comes to gift giving, I try very hard to come up with something that will mean something to the recipient. Not everyone goes through the same amount of thought that I do though. I can’t say that I’ve ever received a really horrible present except when it comes to participation in a White Elephant gift exchange. -
A Cake Made with Love
In our family, we try to make birthdays somewhat special. Usually, a cake or a favorite dessert is made for the birthday person. The first year that I was married my husband, Art, made me a birthday cake. Now, he is not a cook or a baker so this was a very special effort on his part.
