My all-time favorite Christmas movie would have to be White Christmas. By the time the season is done, I will have watched it at least a dozen times. The music and dancing make me smile every time.

I don’t recall how I first started watching this movie, but once I started, I couldn’t stop. My kids even know most of the songs due to my repeated watching. Every year, especially while wrapping presents, I will turn on the tv and watch a few movies on repeat. They are movies that I’ve seen a million times and can quote or sing along. Movies like – White Christmas, The Little Mermaid, and The Princess Bride.

My favorite part of White Christmas would be when Bing Crosby and Danny Kay are singing “Sisters” while imitating the Hanes sisters. Every time I see this part, it reminds me of Dad and Clem. Dad is Bing Crosby and Clem is Danny Kay. Danny is acting goofy and exaggerated while Bing is laughing at his antics.

Some of my old friends also know my love of this movie and have reached out, telling me that they came across the movie and it reminded them of me.

Another favorite would be the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I’ve always had a thing for the unusual favorite. Oscar the grouch, not Big Bird or Burt and Ernie. The Pink Panther, not Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny. Tigger, not Pooh. And then the Grinch! I love all things Grinch, probably because I can relate to him. Too much sugar and spice and I want to run away screaming.
