Always Looking Forward
In the past, I had so many things to look forward to in the future. When I start reminiscing I go way back to graduating from high school, getting engaged, getting married, buying our first house, and having our children. I loved seeing those children excel in their endeavors and eventually graduating from high school, then college.
Then, looking forward to them starting families of their own. Then, how fun it was to look forward to having grandchildren. Now, the time has come to look forward to those grandchildren either graduating from college or pursuing their dreams, starting families of their own, and basically creating more events for me to look forward to.
Life goes on…
I looked forward to the possibility of owning a cottage (a shack in the woods on Lake Michigan). It really was a dream come true to have accomplished something that I looked forward to nearly all my life.
Now, at this ripe old age, I look forward to (as I have said many, many times) everyone in my family being healthy, happy, and successful.
I look forward to the time to be able to enjoy my family, reap the rewards that I have so carefully chosen, and be healthy and happy.
I look forward to finishing some projects in my home such as getting my winter garden looking like a summer wonder, sprucing up my kitchen by updating my cupboards, and being able to just sit and enjoy a good book overlooking the lake at our cottage in Door County and just being. Travel is also something I love to do. I loved going to Ireland, France, and Cozumel. Traveling opens so many doors. It offers a sense of adventure, the comradeship of a traveling companion or companions, and experiencing new things. I think it would be fun to take a couple of months and tour the United States.
The skies are the limit and I look forward to having a nice and accomplished future.
I also look forward to having a pain-free and pleasant passing!!! LOL
